Towards the end of 2020, Slovakia tested individuals with rapid antigen tests within 45 different counties multiple times and was able to observe the effects of high yield testing. The influx of testing resulted in a near 70% decrease in positive cases. From this data, researchers concluded that this virus requires more than the standard practices of disease control and more frequent testing will help mitigate the spread.
