A small Italian Island of Ischia is looking forward to the incoming vaccines and allowing tourists and host events. This island was hit hard by Covid-19 because a large source of income came from tourism. They have been in conversation with airlines to direct more tourism to Ischia when it is safe. If there is an outbreak, this community will be largely affected and would be even more detrimental to the already struggling businesses. As more vaccinations are administered and those that present a negative test, the island will have the opportunity to open up and restore the once flourishing community.
