As parents hope for the safe reopening of schools, they also want to know about the vaccine distribution for kids. There is no current vaccine available for children under the age of sixteen because the appropriate clinical trials still need to be conducted. That does not seem to be a reason to keep schools closed as long as your community has a low infection rate, has no one in the home that is considered high risk and the school is doing its part to follow CDC guidelines.
